It contains Senna Leaf which is used as a laxative and an aid to treat constipation. It works by interacting with the bacteria in the digestive track, resulting in intestinal contractions. Cascara sagrada is a natural laxative made from the reddish-brown bark of a tree (Rhamnus purshiana). Its value is clear for easing constipation and is a mild so it can safely be used by the elderly, and for the mild constipation that can occur following anal or rectal surgery.

Psyllium Husks is a bulk-forming laxative, which means it soaks up water in your gut and makes bowel movements much easier. It promotes regularity and overall digestive health. SHORT TERM CLEANSING: 1 to 2 capsules taken at bedtime with 8 ounces of water for up to 15

days or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not repeat cleansing program for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
